Insect Nesting Dolls
Although insects are a critical part of our ecosystem, they face significant fear from humans. I created an engaging toy that promotes insect awareness based on the classic nesting doll formula: "What will I find next?" The dolls are packaged in a flower bud with a viewing window to hint at what's inside. This toy is about opening to discover, and that starts
with the packaging.

Wrecked
Humans are monsters that have infested and contaminated the water with the trash that we created. The trash comes back to haunt us with guilt. The things we eat have been affected by the trash. We now fear the terrifying environment we created.

Booked
Booked is a call to preserve books for their beauty, and power and in the interest of sustainability. They offer an experience beyond reading through a physical connection with the reader. The pedestal is built from recycled scrap metal and forms a tree-like structure pedestal representing the book's material source. The book is presented open and blank so that the viewer can imagine their own experience.
